Preliminary Idea -

Foodscapes -

This studio shoot is based around the inanimate object, essentiall still life. While personally I am not strong when it comes to the studio or still life photography I have had what I think is a rather creative idea.

I shall be creating a 'Foodscape' which is a landscape constructed entirely from food stuffs. This type of work was made famous by Photographer Carl Warner who will also be my main source of inspiration and research for this project.

While I realise it will be a difficult feat to create a decent photograph landscape from food will be difficult I will be doing a few test runs before hand.

As for the photographs working as a sequence my thoughts where to use seasonal fruit and veg to create various landscapes, thus leading back to the title 'Calander'. However I also realise that creating 4 different foodscape could also be highly taxing and difficult to construct, let alone transport.

Finally studio lighting will be difficult as the heat of the lights could melt, wilt or damage the foodscape.
